After two demo’s, Antillectual decided to go for the real thing. Their first album, entitled "Silencing Civilization", was created with the help of two punk rock heavyweights: Menno Bakker (NRA, Seein red, Bambix, Antidote) recorded it and Alan Douches @ West West Side Music (Sick of it All, Thrice, Sepultura etc.) mastered the damn thing. If you are into bands like Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere and Rise Against for their music and their lyrics then you must check out this record too. They describe their selves as "metal-inspired up-tempo punk to mid-tempo rock songs, accompanied by lyrics on politics, protest and personal feelings". We can only add one thing to that: they fuckin’ rock! The album comes in a beautifully designed digipack.
